The Compass: A Weekly Devotional {Week Twenty-Three} *an excerpt

Week twenty-Three

Worship: Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. 1 Peter 2:12 (NIV)

Did you realize that when we do good deeds publicly it brings God praise and worship?  This week focus on doing good for others and take action!

Inquire:  Write down your prayer requests for the week here and pray them!  Check back at a later date to see what’s been answered.

Listen:  What do you hear God saying to you personally this week?  Think about people He’s put in your path, visual cues, and scripture you’ve read.

Obey:  This week say “yes” to God and step out of your comfort zone. This week’s suggestion is to take action on the good deeds God is asking you to do.

Dear One,
For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. ~Peter (1Peter 2:15)

Time for a Change

It's been a long while since my last blog, and I must admit this has been a busy season that I'm in.  I'm homeschooling my two girls, just finished leading a women's Bible study at my home based off of my book "Path of the Blessing:  Abraham, Isaac, Jacob" and I'm also responsible for heading up our children's department at our church.  Recently the Lord has turned my attention back to my blog and so here I sit writing as my kids are playing with our puppies, dirty dishes await my attention and curriculum is begging for my attention to teach.  I've decided it can all wait.

Change.  It's something I've been craving lately.  I'm not quite sure how it's all going to play out, but something needs to change.  So I'm starting with my blog.  I've noticed that in managing my statistics, I have way too many people clicking on my blog thinking that this is a porn site or a human trafficking website where they can find young raven-haired women that they can use and exploit.  You would be appalled at the key words that come through that lead people to my little blog.

So as of today my blog is now called "Path of the Blessing" to keep everything that I'm about more simplified.

Over this last year I've been working on writing a weekly devotional and so keep myself blogging I'm going to post a few of those devotionals periodically.  As always I would love to hear from you!  So please don't hesitate to comment.

God Bless,
Tasha
